World-class care at a reasonable price. Dr. Enrique Orozco is the best-prepared hair surgeon specialist in all of Latin America, along with his clinic. It changes lives; he filled out my beard and fixed my hairline.
The best hair care clinic in Mexico. I had my hair transplant in December 2021. It is an investment I will never regret. Throughout the recovery process, they answered all my questions and provided expert support for a full year. The doctors are exceptional professionals and experts in the field, and the facilities are always impeccably clean and fully equipped with all necessary supplies. The care from the entire staff is wonderful, and the prices are affordable for a procedure of this nature. Simply thank you, DrEO, for changing my life and giving me back my self-esteem and confidence. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I am sharing the before and after of the procedure with you.
After weighing many options, my boyfriend chose this clinic. Although he had his doubts at first, the results have been impressive. He looks about 10 years younger, and he's from the Basque Country. Furthermore, what caught my attention the most was the care and follow-up service. Especially Valeria and Diana.
Excellent service and working environment from the moment you arrive until you leave. They are the best 👏👏👏 A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are the results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the FUE Technique?
In the FUE technique, the surgeon individually extracts hair follicles from the donor area using a small pointed tool or a specialized extraction device. No large incision is required with this technique.
After the hair follicles are extracted, they are prepared and implanted into the recipient areas where hair is needed.
How is a Hair Transplant Performed?
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure that involves moving individual hair follicles from donor areas of the scalp to recipient areas experiencing thinning or hair loss.
How long does the surgery take?
The duration of the procedure depends on many factors, such as the number of grafts to be transplanted, the technique used for follicle extraction, and the skill and experience of the surgeon. However, it generally takes between 4 and 9 hours. Since it is a procedure that does not require hospitalization, patients can return home to rest on the same day of the surgery.
How Many Grafts Do I Need?
The required number of grafts is determined by considering the patient's degree of hair loss, the quality of the donor area, the patient's expectations, and the quality and thickness of their hair. The goal of this analysis is to achieve complete coverage with as natural an appearance as possible.
Does a Hair Transplant Hurt?
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure performed under local anesthesia, so it is not painful. However, the administration of local anesthesia is necessary, which may cause slight discomfort for some patients.
What is the recovery time for a hair transplant?
Being a minimally invasive procedure, patient recovery is generally fast and they leave walking on the same day of the surgery, allowing them to gradually resume their daily activities the following day.
Is a Hair Transplant Permanent?
The follicles used for a hair transplant generally come from a safe zone—meaning an area where the hair is highly resistant to hair loss caused by androgenetic alopecia. Therefore, once the follicles survive the transplantation process, the hair transplant is permanent.
How much does a hair transplant cost?
Each treatment has its own price, which also depends on the area to be covered. Consequently, the hair transplant prices discussed below may vary according to the specific case and, of course, the clinic.
The treatment has a baseline starting price of approximately $57,000 to $60,000 pesos. From there, depending on the number of grafts required, the price may increase or decrease slightly.
Are there scars after a hair implant?
Because the extraction is performed individually, it does not leave a visible linear scar in the donor area, making it an attractive option for many people.
The appearance of a scar depends on:
- The extraction technique used
- The patient's post-operative care
- The patient's idiosyncrasy
Does grafted hair look natural?
When the procedure is performed by a surgeon experienced in the technique, the results are very natural, making the implanted hair indistinguishable from native hair to the average person.
A good hair transplant is completely undetectable and looks perfectly natural if the correct technique is properly applied by a trained team.
At what age is a hair transplant recommended?
Younger men may not be the best candidates, as their hair loss pattern may not yet be fully determined. If their hair loss has not stabilized, or if the eventual pattern of hair loss is unknown, certain complications may arise.
When dealing with androgenetic alopecia, some doctors recommend waiting until the patient is 24 to 25 years old. By this age, the alopecia pattern is better defined, allowing for proper surgical planning.
Where is the hair for the implant obtained from?
The nature of the donor area depends on each specific case. For androgenetic alopecia, the ideal donor area is the back of the scalp, specifically the occipital and parietal regions (the nape and lower sides). This is because the follicles in this area have a slightly different genetics than those on the front and top, making them immune to the hair loss process.
- Because the donor area is limited, patients who have undergone previous procedures may be deemed unsuitable for a transplant. Some patients may also have an insufficient donor area from the start; in such cases, alternative areas, such as body hair, can be used.
Can the hair be styled, dyed, and ironed?
Yes, once the implanted hair has settled and grown sufficiently, it can generally be styled, dyed, and ironed much like natural hair.
When will I see results from the hair transplant?
Transplanted hair takes approximately one year to grow out after the procedure. Although the exact timeline varies by individual, noticeable results typically begin to show around 6 months.
When transplanted hair is taken from the appropriate donor area, the result is permanent, meaning this hair will not fall out. However, it is very important to understand that non-transplanted hair may continue to shed, and the exact time it will take to be completely lost is very difficult to predict. Therefore, it is important to consult your physician so they can recommend a maintenance treatment.
During the year it takes for the final result to be visible, patience is essential. Remember, as long as the procedure is performed properly and you follow instructions closely.
Can hair transplants be performed on women?
Yes, hair implants are also an option for women experiencing hair loss. However, there are certain special considerations to keep in mind compared to men.
Hair loss in women can have various causes, including genetic, hormonal, medical, and lifestyle factors. Before considering a hair transplant, it is important to determine the underlying cause of the hair loss. In some cases, hair loss can be reversible or manageable with medical treatments.
Can hair from another person be transplanted?
Even if individuals share genetic characteristics or are even family members, it is NOT possible to perform hair transplants using hair from two different people; in other words, hair cannot be grafted from another person. This is because the immune system does not recognize the implanted follicles as its own, but rather as foreign bodies. Consequently, the body rejects them, and furthermore, this could cause complications for the individual. Therefore, the answer is clear: hair cannot be transplanted from another person.
